Join Us for the 100 Million Mask Challenge
Lange Animal Hospital is joining the Million Mask Challenge to help alleviate the shortage of surgical masks affecting both the human and veterinary medical communities. These easy-to-make cotton surgical masks are washable and reusable. Through the #millionmaskchallenge, our clients, families and friends can help keep medical staff safe and functioning while working on the front lines of the COVID-19/Coronavirus pandemic.
Learn how to easily make masks through a step-by-step pictorial or video how-to. You can the contact us to establish the best method to drop off masks for use at our either our practices, sister clinics, or human healthcare counterparts.
You can also contact the Knoxville Veterinary Medical Association (KVMA) via e-mail at kvmapresident@gmail.com or on their Facebook page, letting them know that you have spare, commercially-made surgical masks or extra cloth masks available. The KVMA can help arrange to get the masks from you and distribute them to local, human healthcare facilities.
For clients who are accomplished seamstresses and willing to do more, surgical gowns are also a need. We are currently looking for a pattern to distribute to help accomplish this.
Thank you so much for your support and participation.
Together we can make a difference!
